Make sure the main image is large enough. Preferably at least about 1500 pixels wide. A good main image is purely photographic, not composed of multiple images and has no graphic elements such as text. Make sure that important parts of the image, such as faces, are in the center of the frame. This prevents problems with automatic cropping.
